What do you pay before delivery?

Before delivery, you pay one week’s rent in advance, a bond, and the delivery fee. We also accept a $150 deposit, with the balance paid in instalments before delivery. Please send an enquiry so we can confirm your exact upfront cost.

Do you need to pay a bond?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You pay a refundable bond before delivery. The bond is $250 for most cabins and $600 for cabins with bathrooms. You get it back when the cabin is returned clean, undamaged, and all rent is paid.

Question 3

How long can I rent a cabin for?

Accepted Answer

Cabins can be rented for an unlimited period of time. However, if you need a cabin long-term, the option to purchase or our rent-to-own payments may be beneficial to you.

Question 4

What happens when I’m finished with the cabin?

Accepted Answer

You simply schedule a pickup (subject to your minimum term and giving at least one month's notice). Your bond will be refunded if the cabin is returned clean, undamaged, and there is no money owing.

Where can I view a cabin?

We often have a cabin or two on display in our warehouse carpark at 38H Lunn Ave, Mt. Wellington.Check with us first by using the contact link at the bottom of our webpages, or complete an online enquiry to let us know you wish to view a cabin, and we will confirm what is available to view.

How does Rent-to-Own work?

Rent-to-Own works by making a fixed number of weekly payments over a fixed period, usually 3 years. Rent-to-Own payments are higher than rent only payment reflecting the benefit of eventually owning the cabin at the end. During the fixed period, you are only renting the cabin, and you can stop paying the rent at any time and return the cabin, subject to completing any minimum rental period and notice period. ✅No credit checks ✅No deposit ✅No interest charged✅Cabin ownership at the end.

Can I change from renting to rent-to-own?

Yes. Please contact us to arrange this change in payment plan.

The minimum period to complete the rent-to-own plan is 3 years from the date started.
